I have been lucky enough to have recently come back from a 3 month trip around New Zealand with a couple of stopovers in Australia – one of the stopovers being to shoot Imogen & Cristiano’s wedding in Sydney. Imogen & Cristiano found me via the great Polka Dot Bride Wedding Blog, who were kind enough to mention my trip on their blog – thank you guys!
Imogen is Australian and Cristiano is from Brazil – they had their ceremony at the Garden Island Naval Chapel and the reception was held at The Pavilion in The Domain, on the edge of Sydney’s Royal Botanical Gardens, which we got to walk around for some shots. It was definitely a different kettle of fish shooting a wedding in that Sydney humidity, but it was easily forgotten when amongst such amazing scenery.
I’d just like to thank Imogen & Cristiano both for putting so much faith in a photographer who was literally flying over from the other side of the world – it was a pleasure getting to know you guys. And now I’ve got a taste of an Oz wedding, I’m looking to get me some more…
